Thank you for a meaningful summer of mindfulness and connection!
We began as an all-volunteer, grass-roots initiative with a mission to help families cope with COVID-19 by offering daily online mindfulness lessons that teach the crucial life skills of attention, balance, and compassion. Along with our mission to put children and families first, we didn’t record or post lessons online, nor did we scale our project in a way that would compromise children’s safety or diminish the intimacy of our classes. We were committed to offering classes for free or on a pay-what-you-can-afford basis.
And we succeeded!
Over ten weeks this Summer, we taught more than 150 classes and reached thousands of families across the world from places as far flung as Brazil, Scotland, Kansas City, and everywhere in between while keeping our classes small and connected.
